About the Author

Brad Maddeaux is a retired third-generation Canadian, a devoted husband,
father, stepfather, and grandfather, affectionately known by his grandchildren as “Pappi.”

A first-time author, Brad brings to this book the perspective of an ordinary
Canadian who loves his country deeply and cares about its future. Rather
than writing from a political or academic background, he writes from
personal conviction, lived experience, and a sincere concern for the freedoms
Canadians have long cherished.

About the Book

COVID-19 IN CANADA: HOW WE WERE BETRAYED

Governments’ betrayal of the people they were meant to protect!

When the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic on
March 11, 2020, Canada was soon plunged into lockdowns, isolation, fear,
and division. Rights and freedoms diminished, families were separated,
and Canadians were divided into two classes of people: vaccinated and
unvaccinated.

This book is my personal account of how my wife, my family, and I lived
through the pandemic in Ontario, and why Canadians must never again allow
their safety, privacy, choices, rights, and freedoms to be violated.

We were betrayed!

COVID-19 in Canada: How We Were Betrayed! by Brad Maddeaux is a difficult read for a couple of reasons. It is a vivid account of the betrayal we all experienced during the so-called “COVID pandemic.” It is also a reminder that those responsible for this historic violation of our fundamental rights and freedoms have not been held to account. The reality is that we are in an abusive relationship with our governments, courts, law enforcement, health institutions, and government-sponsored media, while those
responsible for the abuse continue to act with impunity. This book should be required reading for all citizens until justice is served.
Without acknowledgement, accountability, and a reckoning, the future of humanity is in jeopardy.
