At True Freedom Press, we offer book writing, editing, typesetting, and cover design services. It is important to note that each of the services we offer may vary in price depending on the needs of each client. We are open to discussing and negotiating further with each client and their unique projects after an initial free quote is provided. All writing and editing services adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style.
To paraphrase a quote commonly attributed to 18th-century French enlightenment philosopher François-Marie Arouet, most commonly known as Voltaire, gets to the essence of what True Freedom Press is all about: “I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” This is exactly why I started True Freedom Press at the end of 2020: to publish books that other presses won’t. Even Christian publishing houses would rather appease the world than publish works that defend the truth and God.
Part of the philosophy of True Freedom Press is the recognition that freedom of speech is not only a principle and a basic human right but also a mechanism that has helped democracies survive over the centuries. Free speech has an indispensable functional purpose in facilitating discussion and allowing people to debate uncomfortable ideas while considering differing viewpoints in order to ascertain a better understanding of society and reality. Free speech helps us to sift through good and bad ideas and even expose potentially dangerous and harmful ideas instead of keeping them hidden in the recesses of our minds and on the fringes of society.
True Freedom Press is willing to publish controversial books that challenge established narratives and beliefs and may challenge the beliefs of theists and non-theists. The works published by True Freedom Press may or may not reflect the personal beliefs of the publisher. True Freedom Press is all about publishing books that challenge the status quo. It is a press that supports the pursuit of truth, no matter how uncomfortable, unpopular, or unpleasant it may be to many.
True Freedom Press promotes free speech, freedom of conscience, and freedom of expression. With the pervasiveness of censorship throughout the legacy media, Big Tech platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, and others, university campuses, work settings, publishing houses, and even places of worship, true freethinkers are increasingly seeking alternative platforms and methods of communication. True Freedom Press offers an alternative to this Orwellian nightmare that has become so commonplace throughout Western consciousness. It provides a platform for politically correct-averse conservatives, theists, libertarians, free thinkers, and others to express their opinions in an open and honest manner.
Little do many realize that political correctness is an oppressive tool to prevent dissenting views. Genocidal tyrants like Mao Zedong used the phrase, which originated with Leon Trotsky. Over the past 20 years, we have seen a dramatic increase in the censorship of unpopular ideas that counter certain narratives, such as woke ideologies, and, in the past three years, anything that counters the single narrative of COVID-19.
True Freedom Press upholds a traditional understanding of tolerance, one that defends an individual’s right to hold a particular position and express it freely, even if it offends others. To write freely is to have the ability to offend. The truth may offend at first, but it should be embraced for the sake of authentic living and expression.
